A new, simplified method for checking payments has been introduced. Beneficiaries can now check their payment status using ATMs without any fees or waiting periods. The next installment of ₹13,500 will be disbursed starting from October 10, 2024. This installment will include both the July and September payments for those who have not yet received them. The government has made special arrangements to ensure that all pending installments are settled by December 2024.In a significant move, the franchise system currently in place for distributing payments will be abolished. Payments will now be processed through Easy Paisa, Jazz Cash, and other digital channels. Additionally, representatives of BISP at the Union Council level will be reinstated to support beneficiaries.
